2016 Traditions Vendor Fair

Here at Williams Construction, we believe in local businesses staying involved in the community. We are always glad to be privileged to participate in events here in the greater Winter Haven area, and recently, we had one of those opportunities!

Traditions, a beautiful and well-known neighborhood in Winter Haven, frequently hosts vendor fairs for local businesses. They open their doors to restaurants, shops, and businesses that provide services throughout Polk County. Residents (and even people from the community at large) are able to come through and meet the owners or representatives of these businesses and find out what is available locally to meet their needs.

We were excited to participate in the most recent Vendor Fair at Traditions on April 14th. From 10:00 to 1:00 we got to meet residents of Traditions and enjoy representing Williams Construction and what services we provide to Polk County and the Central Florida area.

Thank you to Traditions for a great morning and for opening your doors to us!

Supporting Heritage Christian Academy!

Williams Construction Company was honored to support Heritage Christian Academy in a new way this school year! We sponsored car magnets for the school. This allows parents, grandparents, or other family/friends of HCA to advertise for the school by simply driving around town. All they have to do is stop by the school office and pick up their magnet.

We really believe that Heritage Christian Academy is a wonderful education opportunity for the students and families of Polk County, and we want to see them be as successful as possible in our community. We are thankful for the hard work they put into their students each day, and we wanted to do our part in helping support them.

Heritage Christian Academy Upgrades

Recently, Williams Construction Company was honored to help Heritage Christian Academy upgrade their outdoor activity area for students.

HCA is located in Winter Haven and offers a Christ-centered classical education for Polk County students. We know that outdoor equipment can be expensive, and we wanted to make sure the students had plenty of fun things to enjoy this 2015-2016 school year, so we were happy to step up to the plate and provide new tetherball courts as well as a new set of presidential equipment for the outdoor play area on campus. The equipment not only offers fun for the students, but exercise as well, which we know can improve focus in the classroom, and also boosts overall physical and mental health.

Heritage Christian Academy offers so much to our community, and it was our pleasure to be able to serve them in this way. We are hoping for a great year for all the students at HCA!

Lewis Family Cancer Fund-"Swing for the Cure"

Recently, we were honored to be part of the "Swing for the Cure" event hosted by the Lewis Family Cancer Fund. This organization does an incredible job raising support for those fighting cancer both locally and regionally. They desire to raise awareness of this terrible disease that affects so many, and to fund research that will hopefully prevent and cure cancer in the future.

Thank you to the Lewis Family Cancer Fund for allowing us to play a part in this great event!

2015 Toga Trot 5K

On April 25th, Williams Construction had the opportunity to sponsor a great event here in our community. Heritage Christian Academy is providing a quality and affordable classical education to students here in Polk County, and they held their first annual Toga Trot 5K in downtown Winter Haven to raise support so they can continue to serve the families in our area. Many local businesses came out to support the Toga Trot by donating their products, services, or funds, and we were excited to be one of them!

Runners donned their togas bright and early on Saturday morning and hit the road for a fun (but challenging) run. Even HCA students joined in! We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year!
